Are your services covered by Swiss health insurance? +
No. Services are privately paid and are not currently covered by Swiss mandatory or supplementary health insurance. However, I am taking the necessary steps to work towards recognition by complementary insurance providers in the future.
How do I book a call? +
Use the book button, or contact me via email.
What happens after I book? +
- You will receive an instant confirmation email. Please check your spam folder if you cannot find it.
- You may be asked to complete a short intake form, where relevant.
- You will receive a private Google Meet link for your consultation.
Am I paying before or after the session? +
- Payment is made before the session. If you are unsure, you are welcome to book a discovery call or contact me by email so we can confirm whether a nutrition consultation is the right fit for you.
- Please note that if you book a consultation scheduled to take place within the next 24 hours, the session is non-refundable from the time of booking.
What payment methods do you accept? +
IBAN or bank transfer.
Do I need to install any app or software to join a Google Meet consultation? +
No. Simply click the meeting link in your confirmation email, and the consultation will open in your web browser. If you are using a smartphone or tablet, you may be prompted to download the Google Meet app.
What languages do you work in? +
English, Russian, Ukrainian.
Do you work with clients outside Switzerland? +
Yes, online consultations are possible regardless of the client's location.
Are you a registered dietitian in Switzerland? +
No. I am a scientist and nutrition professional who is qualified to provide private consultations, develop educational materials, and deliver educational events.
Where can I verify the registration of Rita Leichenko? +
You can verify my registration with the Association for Nutrition (AfN), a professional body supporting recognised training standards and professional ethics. In the register, my full first name is listed as Marharyta. Please search for the surname "Leichenko" or registration number 49053.
Do you provide medical diets? +
Yes. I can provide evidence-based dietary guidance for a range of health conditions. Examples include dietary approaches for diabetes, cardiovascular health, kidney disease, texture-modified diets, and nutrition plans that support gut health, among others.
Can you help if I have a diagnosed medical condition? +
Yes. Nutrition support can be a potent complementary tool for supporting your health and improving your quality of life. I can work alongside your existing treatment plan to help you meet your nutritional needs and health goals. It is important to continue following the treatment plan provided by your healthcare professional. Any decisions regarding medications or medical treatments should always be discussed with your prescribing clinician.
Can I cancel a consultation? +
Yes. You can cancel your consultation with at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, the session fee is non-refundable.
Do you work online? +
Yes. Online consultations are the primary format, which makes it easier to work with clients across Switzerland and abroad.
Can I book an in-person consultation? +
In-person consultations may be possible by arrangement. Please book a call or contact me via email.
Are online consultations data protected? +
Yes. I conduct sessions using Google Workspace services with access controls for calls and shared files. Google Workspace supports HIPAA compliance for included services such as Google Meet and Google Drive when a Business Associate Agreement is in place and the services are configured appropriately. I also handle client data in line with Swiss data protection principles.
How is my data kept confidential and secure? +
As a practitioner based in Switzerland, I handle personal data in line with the principles of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), including confidentiality, data minimisation, secure storage, and restricted access to information. Client data is used exclusively for providing nutrition consultation and is stored within secure, access-controlled systems.
Can I contact you between consultations? +
Yes. You are welcome to reach out between consultations with brief questions or clarifications related to your nutrition plan.
